The Engaged Scholarship & Learning (ES&L) Ambassador program awards 6-8 scholarships each fall and spring semester. 

The ES&L Ambassador Scholarship recipients will collaborate with ES&L staff to connect classrooms to the community.

Recipients will promote ES&L activities through presentations and outreach events, serve as a liaison for the ES&L office, and assist with creating a culture of engagement at the university. Students must be able to commit to the service hours for the award which they apply:

Gold AwardGold Award       
Up to $1,500
150 hours of service

Silver AwardSilver Award
Up to $1,000
100 hours of service

Bronze AwardBronze Award
Up to $500
50 hours of service


  • Undergraduate status.
  • Minimum 60 credit hours completed.
  • Full-time enrollment status.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Be in good academic standing.
  • Participation in ES&L activities.
  • Attendance at weekly meetings.
  • Able to collaborate with faculty, students, and community partners.
