"My work is shaped by rural ranch life and honors the beauty, labor, and traditions of caring for land and animals through a contemporary lens. Using oil and acrylic paint, ceramics, found objects, and family textiles, I layer memory and material to create work that feels familiar through shared emotions of love, care, and belonging. Through hand-built ceramics, sewn fabrics, and painting from memory, I connect past and present while inviting viewers to reflect on their own ties to land, labor, and family." - Kelsie Garza
