UTRGV's School of Medicine beloved Brain and Beyond... Seminar Series,  a cornerstone of our UTRGV SOM community for five years, is back!. Led by Dr. Gladys Maestre, Director of the Rio Grande Valley Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (RGV AD-RCMAR) and Co-Director of South Texas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (South Texas ADRC), these seminars have sparked discussions, fostered collaborations, and showcased groundbreaking research. We have started to cover a wide breadth of topics, far beyond what we imagined covering when the series was first started.

Dr. Johnson is a Professor of Neurology in the University of California at Davis, School of Medicine and Director of UC Davis Alzheimer's Disease Center - East Bay San Francisco.
