UTRGV's School of Medicine beloved Brain and Beyond... Seminar Series, a cornerstone of our UTRGV SOM community for five years, is back!. Led by Dr. Gladys Maestre, Director of the Rio Grande Valley Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (RGV AD-RCMAR) and Co-Director of South Texas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (South Texas ADRC), these seminars have sparked discussions, fostered collaborations, and showcased groundbreaking research. We have started to cover a wide breadth of topics, far beyond what we imagined covering when the series was first started. 

Our next seminar will be presented by Jeremy Tanner, M.D.

Dr. Tanner is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Biggs Institute for Alzheimer's and Neurodegenerative Diseases at UTHealth San Antonio and faculty in South Texas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. He will be presenting the topic: Biomarkers for AD - To Infinity and Beyond
