UTRGV Pediatrics is starting a new group model of care for pediatric visits called Centering Parenting at John Austin Peña Memorial Center in Edinburg. We will be having a session March 9th for mothers with newborn to 1-month olds. The program consists of 9 sessions throughout two years. Each visit has a baby wellness appointment and discussion with a group of 5 - 8 parents for educational topics regarding the mental and physical health for mothers and their babies. We will have content experts, free baby care items, and more available.
