Leticia Villarreal Sosa, PhD, LCSW, PEL SSW Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development and Professor in the School of Social Work at UTRGV
OBJECTIVES: Upon conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Understand Ethical Authorship Practices: Participants will learn the key principles of ethical authorship, including proper attribution, recognizing the contributions of all collaborators, and navigating the conversation.
2. Navigate Publishing Standards: Attendees will gain insights into the standards and guidelines set by reputable journals and publishers, ensuring their work meets the necessary criteria for responsible and credible publication.
3. Promote Integrity in Research: The presentation will equip participants with strategies to maintain integrity throughout the research and publication process, fostering a culture of honesty, and transparency in academic and professional writing.
**Attending 5 of these sessions in addition to completing and submitting its assigned evaluation will earn attendees a "Certificate of Medical Research".**
