Engaged Scholars Workshop: Prepping Proposals

Targeted toward students who are interested in submitting their project proposals for funding, or who are curious to learn what guidelines are recommended to prepare an adequate proposal.

The requirements to apply for the Office of Engaged Scholarship & Learning Engaged Scholar Award will also be provided, in addition to other outside resources for funding research or creative works projects.

The "Prepping Proposals and Writing Abstracts" sessions are usually provided by a seasoned faculty member on campus. Prior presenters have been Dr. Amy Cummins and Dr. Randall Monty.

During the session, students receive descriptive information about research, calls for proposals, abstracts, and how to prepare proposals for the Student Scholar Symposium at UTRGV during the spring semester.

For more information, contact Engaged Scholarship & Learning at engaged@utrgv.edu or call 956-665-3461 or 956-882-4300.
