This comprehensive hybrid certificate program introduces decision-makers and human resource professionals to the skills needed to manage critical HR functions on a daily basis and avoid legal pitfalls. Participants will learn how to find the right applicants, conduct useful and proper interviews, create job descriptions, develop a performance review process, and evaluate compensation. This program will engage and prepare participants on best practices to create employee handbooks, conduct employee investigations, resolve employee conflicts, create a positive work environment, and increasing employee satisfaction. In addition to the asynchronous, online portion of the program, participants will have the chance to interact with an industry expert in a live classroom environment to build in practical HR management tools and complete a comprehensive capstone.
