Innovation in Life Sciences Summer Camp - 2024

Innovation and entrepreneurship in the biological sciences are transforming our world. Immerse yourself in hands-on learning designed around developing your entrepreneurial skills. Join a diverse network of students, faculty, and industry leaders in a high-energy, low-stress environment. Gain insights to help you chart your course from mindset, to marketing yourself, to building your team and developing your ideas.

We will have a jam-packed week of morning sessions, afternoon activities (such as harbor tours, a beach picnic, and a chance to explore historical Galveston Island). There will even be a Hackathon with winners determined at the final evening event!

Registration is limited to 40 students among BLP Texas Network schools, TAMUG, PVTAMU, UHCL and TSU campuses. Attendance will be determined by your campus directors. The camp is open to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, as well as post docs. All students will be able to stay in student housing at Texas A&M Galveston campus.

You will be required to attend 1 hour long Virtual Sessions weekly starting 6 weeks prior to camp (minimum 1x per week). Students will arrive on Sunday, May 19 and sessions will start at 5:30pm. You will be required to attend each session as active participation is mandatory for camp. The camp will end at 1:00pm on Friday, May 24.
