Assistant Professor of Percussion, Dr. Marco Schirripa, will present music for solo percussion by a wide range of composers, including the world premiere of ‘Little by Little,’ a theatrical work by Kimberly Osberg, Russell Wharton’s ‘Kingdoms,’ for snare drum and video playback, and Schirripa’s own large-scale piece for solo marimba, ‘Music for a Video Game.’

The program will explore the wide range of the percussion discipline, including the use of video, electronic sound, and performance art.
