The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP)—formerly known as Be The Match—is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping patients with blood cancers and blood disorders, such as leukemia and sickle cell disease, find life-saving blood stem cell donors. Every year, thousands of patients depend on the generosity of people who join the registry or volunteer to raise awareness. Through education, outreach, and donor registration, NMDP connects patients with their best chance for a cure.

Upcoming Registry Events:

Join us for our Multiday Registry Drives, hosted by the UTRGV NMDP Campus Chapter, where students, faculty, and staff can learn more about joining the national donor registry and how a simple cheek swab could help save a life.
