Nosotrxs Por El Valle (NPEV) is a group of scholars, historians, activists and RGV natives that worked to produce a traveling exhibit titled “Civil Rights in the RGV”. This traveling exhibit aims to bring local history to the community, while also embracing culture, art, and diversity. This exhibit begins with 10 panels that range from topics like the Underground Railroad to Chicanx Activism. NPEV seeks to grow the exhibit, adding panels that will pair with additional art pieces to complement the history, as well as digital access to learning materials, so that it can fully reflect and serve the community it is made for.
