UTRGV is partnering with the Texas Tribune to host a luncheon panel discussion titled, “Preparing the Next Generation of RGV Workers” on Thursday, September 25, from 12-1 pm (doors will open at 11:30 am) at the PlainsCapital Bank El Gran Salón in Brownsville.

The discussion will be about the RGV workforce and how this region is preparing its locals for the high-tech jobs emerging in the region. Confirmed speakers include President Bailey and LJ Francis, member of the Texas State Board of Education. More speakers will be announced soon. The conversation will be moderated by Texas Tribune Editor-in-Chief Matthew Watkins. This event will serve as an opportunity to highlight UTRGV’s 10th Anniversary and how UTRGV is preparing our students to enter the workforce.
