Beethoven premiered his own G-Major piano Concerto, Op. 58, in Vienna, 1808. His deafness had already progressed to a severe condition, but his earnest passion for producing his great music did not stop him from writing.

In this premiere concert, the program was massive: Excerpts from Mass in C Major Op. 86, Choral Fantasy Op. 80, Concert Aria "Ah! Perfido," the 5th Symphony Op. 67 ("The Fate"), the 6th Symphony Op. 68 (Pastorale), in addition to the 4th Piano Concerto Op. 58. All were performed and conducted by Beethoven himself.

In the year 2020, we rejoice in his beautiful work with a performance by Dr. Shoko Kinsella.
