The Student Government Association is the official representation of students at UTRGV. The organization’s purpose is to address your concerns, petitions, and requests by bringing action to your voice and promoting your rights for a quality education. 

SGA is currently seeking responsible and dedicated students as candidates for the 2023-2024 term of office that begins on May 1. The following positions are available:  

• President
• Vice Presidents  
• Academic Senators for each college/school
• Graduate Senators
• Senators-At-Large
