The “Showdown” event welcomes Vaqueros back on campus

Edinburg, TX – The Showdown is an outdoor event for students to network and prepare to return to campus at UTRGV. The Vaquero Showdown features an evening of live music entertainment by DJ Josh, recreational activities and inflatables.  Student Leaders from Undergraduate Recruitment will be conducting campus tours for students and families during the event. The Student Union will be open and host a variety of games and prizes! Sodexo Food Services will open the Grill at the Student Union for students on a dining plan.

The  Showdown on the Edinburg campus is schedule for Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 5PM to 8PM and will be held at the ESTUN in Edinburg, TX.   
The event is sponsored by the UTRGV departments Housing and Residence Life, Student Union, UREC and Undergradute Recruitment.
