Infusing Sustainability into the Classroom across Disciplines: A Humane-Inclusive-Sustainable Education Model (HIS-E) Approach

This session will create awareness that even if sustainability is not a central, fundamental component of their discipline, every course must have sustainability infused into it to promote whole-person development, engage students with the community, develop soft skills, collaborate across disciplines, and have a more inclusive classroom. Thus, sustainability is built into service learning courses that connect academic knowledge to community projects that provide a holistic and inclusive education. Click here to register.
